I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, I love learning about and throwing myself into any and all creative processes or mediums. I am proficient in charcoal drawings and relief printmaking, and have dabbled in graphite, digital sketching/painting, watercolors, oil painting, ceramics, and other forms of printmaking (intaglio, letterpress, lithography, etc).
I hope to one day become an illustrator of children's books, and to be able to make a living as a freelance artist.
HumAlong Photography initially became a way for me to combine my passion for photography with my passion for music. I'm just trying to keep the music, emotions, the love, and the message behind it all alive long after the words themselves may fade.
I'm still learning how everything in the photography world works, but am working my way towards a professional photography certificate. Many of my shots have been used and featured on band's Facebook pages and other social media. I enjoy working with 35mm film, but primarily work digitally.
In October of 2014, the title "HumAlong" expanded as a company to not just represent my photography, but my artwork as well.
In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, and experiencing any and all types of live/musical theater.
